2019 All District Orchestras
All District Orchestras are a type of honor orchestra available within our district. It is an intense weekend of rehearsals at a local school in town with a guest conductor/clinician, and so many of our students love these events! The honor orchestra is a combination of great string students from all of the schools in our area with a strings program!
I have been telling many of you about this opportunity, and here we are! Attached is the application form. If you would like to audition, could you e-mail me back saying which student(s) wants to audition, instrument, and MS or HS? That way I can attach the correct etude and also have a record of who wants to audition so that I don’t leave anyone out in turning in forms. Application forms are due to me by Wednesday, October 31 (click link to download).
E-mail me back so you can start practicing now! We have 1.5 months until the audition. Below are all of the dates, fees, and information. On the application form are the requirements. This is a great opportunity, and I encourage our students to go for it! Let me know if you have any questions!

Audition: $5 fee per student
If selected, there will be a participation fee.
Middle School Participation fee: $15
High School Participation fee: $20
*Make all checks out to your school and give to your director. Your orchestra director will write one check from all of the students participating in your school.*

Saturday, February 2, 10 am to 12 pm
**Note: All rehearsals must be attended in their entirety to participate in the concert.**
