WELCOME PRELUDIO!

 

Great work in class today!

Here’s what you should work on this week:

• Keep singing and air bowing Jolly Old!
  • Lyrics: Jolly old saint nicholas, lean your ear this wayyyyy, don’t you tell a single soul, what I’m going to sayyyyy, Christmas eve is coming soon, Now you dear old maaaaan, whisper what you’ll bring to me, tell me if you caaaan!

 

• Left hand exercises are important to do every day.  Practicing gliding the hand up and down the neck of the violin, as well as tapping your fingers on the strings will help develop those motor skills.

 

• Practice tapping the first finger on both the E string and the A string (on the tape closes to the scroll)

 

• Review the spider monkey song and the first line of Twinkle
