September 28, 2022 Homework Accelerando

ACCELERANDO!!

Great job in class today!

 

Remember to practice at least 6 days a week…even if it is just for 10 minutes!

Scales to practice:
  • C Major (violins 1 octave, viola/cello 2 octaves) and D major scales
Uni-Tunes:
  • Uni-Tunes: practice Little Symphony in G Major
Concert Pieces:
    1. This week, I have an important challenge: spend more time practice the pieces that you like the least.  In particular, Snowy Woods needs the most at-home practice!
    2. At this point, you should have worked through all of the pieces! Focus on sections that you are uncomfortable with, then practice playing along with the recording.
    3. If we keep up the AMAZING progress that we’ve been making, I planning on adding another piece to our program!!!!  It’ll be on the shorter side and super fun, so please keep up the good work so we can add it!
Below is the theory homework for this week.  If you did not get it in class today, use the link below (unless you have a theory book) to print it out and complete it. Bring it to class next week and turn it into the white bin at the front of the class.
