• Today we worked on practicing a long straight bow!
  • See how long you can hold a steady note on the open strings – E A D G.
  • Make sure you have sound on your long straight bows and time yourself!
• Mary Had A Little Lamb
  • Violins: E2, E1, E, E1, E2, E2, E2__  (Mary had a little lamb)
  • Cello: A3  A1 A  A1 A3 A3 A3__ (Mary had a little lamb)
• Practice Chart!
  • Color in a heart each day you practice for the next 4 weeks.
  • Try to practice 6 times a week.  There are 6 hearts for each week.
  • Regular, short practices are better than occasional, long practices!
  • At the end of 4 weeks, turn in your chart for a PRIZE!
