September 6, 2023 Homework Sinfonia Allegro
WELCOME to SINFONIA ALLEGRO!!
Sinfonia Allegro:
I’ll Be Bach we will play up to measure 95 in our next class.
1st violins be aware of your shifting at m. 77.
Everyone watch out for Bbs on G string and A string.
Check that you are not playing F# on the E string, violinists.
Cellos practice God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. Legato and big sound.
Keep practicing Le Froid on the things we have discussed before.
The Black Knight- great work in class.
We will work on finishing reading the piece next week.
Practice with a pencil and mark things that need extra practice.
We will begin Sanctus in a couple weeks. If you have extra time you can practice it using straight bows to get a clear tone.
